Marfa, TX. Donald Judd’s 15 untitled works in concrete were the first to be installed at the museum. The twenty-five centimeter thick concrete slabs from which the works were constructed were poured, fabricated and assembled on site – the open field on the eastern edge of Chinati’s property – between 1980 through 1984.

This month features rarely-seen contact sheet images from the early 1980s that document the installation of a portion of these multi-part works.
